That first book looks familiar!

I do read the emails from Amazon recommending titles. Many a veritable gem has come my way through this system. However, today I did a double take.

Was I interested in buying any of these fantasy titles? asked Amazon.

Well, that first ebook looks pretty darned awesome, thought I.

Yes, Amazon had recommended my own book to me, LOL!

God love 'em!

I get an email from Amazon once or twice a month recommending my horror novel CANALS. Not sure why they picked that novel out of the three I have for sale, but there it is. Hopefully that means a million others are getting the same email, right?

Heh, yep, I've had that too. Computer algorithms - gotta love 'em!

Hahah, yeah Amazon is just a computer spitting out recommendations based on purchases.

Ha! I haven't had that happen yet, but it has recommended my book to several friends. Hmmm...wonder what they read? XD

Very interesting. I recently received an Amazon email promoting the book that contains my short story. I wondered if it was a fluke. Guess not. :-)
