Blogger doesn't make it easy to follow other bloggers. It used to. Years ago there was a little button on the top left corner of each main page. One click and voila. You had a lovely shiny new blog to follow.
Now you have to log in and click one page to open another and then you have to state in which format you want to follow and for fucks sake all I want to do is follow and now I am bashing my head on the keyboard because it won't let me click on follow...
...and then you try and follow and you can't because the blogger's blog isn't linked to a profile.
So please help me to follow you. I want to. You look lovely and interesting - and I say that in a total non-stalkerish way of course!
Please link to your blog in your blogger profile. Blogger makes it hard enough. You don't need to make it impossible!

Meanwhile, I can't figure out why some blogs regularly disappear from my feed. Blogger is wacky.
Oh don't get me started on Blogger issues.... But I totally agree they don't make it easy to follow other blogs anymore. Irritating as hell.

You made me LOL... I think mine is set up right?? Now I'm worried.
Theres an easy solution. On your blogger feed, right below where it says 'Reading List' is an add button :) whenever I find a blog I want to follow, even if its wordpress, I just copy the blog address and click add, done!
Haha, it is frustrating, isn't it! I find the easiest way to do it now is to copy the URL and just paste it into the 'add subscription' in Google Reader. Works wonders. :-)
The whole layout to Blogger has now changed because I use my iPad predominately. This is a pain in the ass.
I'm hoping mine is because I get frustrated with those that aren't. Why make it more difficult for someone to follow you?

Another aspect of Blooger I hate...you leave comments...your friend gets a notifier of your comment...they turn to reply back privately to you...but your provile doesn't allow the notifier to see your email address.

Ha! I got rid of the Follower button and instead added a "follow me by email" option. Easier for everyone!

I've given up following people for all the reasons you mention. And my absolutely least favorite-- you click on their name and it goes to Google + with big letters that say: "They haven't shared any information with you." Okay then, goodbye.
Or, just move on over to WordPress as I did 2 years ago. Much friendlier interface.
